Advancing Materials Science - Bridging Chemistry and Engineering for a Sustainable Future

3 November 2025 08:30 - 5 November 2025 16:00, Doha, Qatar

Introduction
The international three-day event, Advancing Materials Science: Bridging Chemistry and Engineering for a Sustainable Future, is a pioneering conference jointly hosted by the ÓûÂþɬ (RSC) and the European Materials Research Society (E-MRS) in collaboration with Texas A&M University at Qatar (TAMUQ) and Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU).

This conference will catalyze scientific discoveries, industry collaborations, and advancements in sustainability-driven materials research by bringing together global experts and young researchers in materials science, chemistry, and sustainability-driven technologies.

Conference Objectives
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration between chemistry, materials science, and engineering researchers to foster innovative solutions for global challenges.
  • Showcase cutting-edge research in advanced materials, sustainable energy, nanotechnology, and functional polymers to highlight their role in shaping a sustainable future.
  • Provide a platform for knowledge exchange through keynote lectures, panel discussions, oral presentations, and interactive poster sessions to encourage engagement between academia and industry.
  • Support early-career researchers and students by offering opportunities for networking, professional development, and recognition

We invite participants to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations that align with the themes of the conference: materials science, chemistry, sustainable technologies, and innovation in engineering
